The theory

Concept
Nodes are considered minions for the purposes of the perk Together Strong, along with the catalyst Ultimatum to maintain uptime on Instant Diffusion (Nimiod Ultimate). This provides a massive amount of buffs. Damage, Stamina Regeneration, and Critical Damage from Power Surge Enhancement. Speed, Critical Chance, and Fire Rate Subzero Node secondary ability and up to 5 stacks of Armor from Together Strong Perk. These stacks of Armor greatly improve survivability to where you do not even need any armor catalysts.

Budget Version

  1. Plasma Element
  2. Feasting vice Transfusion
  3. Spring Bloom if you do not have Ultimatum Corrupted Catalyst
  4. Other recommended 3rd perks: Recycling (Node Uptime) or Deadly Weakness (Damage)
  5. Whatever Health catalysts you have for survival. Aim to farm at 100+ Abyss on a timed survival level.

Optimizations
Neutral element allows for use of Fatal Wound and Transfusion. Transfusion is a much more powerful healing option compared to Feasting. Fatal Wound allows for much quicker clear speeds with the execute. We maintain Current Chain primary as the Plasma element since we are not using True Neutral Corrupted Catalyst for slightly more damage. Nodes from my testing do only 1 damage however are great for spreading and maintaining Bleed.

Optional

  1. Speed Catalyst. I prefer this option as you are most vulnerable while moving in-between areas without nodes. This also makes moving around the maps feel better imo.
  2. You can use Ultimate Fill Catalyst as the first slot with Ultimatum for 100% Ultimate up-time.
  3. Crit Chance Catalyst for higher damage output, however I think this is unnecessary when using Fatal Wound.

P.S. I do not recommend pushing Abyss passed level 400 as the screen clutter at that point becomes nearly unplayable even with a high-end PC with graphics on low.
