The theory
Ngl, purely theoretical since I only have demo so I can't test it ( if your interested, you can try and comment ) but I basically decided to go full in on how I used gilick in the demo with spamming the secondary ability where I jump once or twice and hold right click while looking for a good spot to slam, if you have maxed out the Cerebrum Enhancer, you should have the upgrade where the slam radius increases when your jumping/in the air and you regain secondary stacks on kill, so I infested a decent bit in to attack power so that you are more likely to deal enough damage to kill a enemy when you use the move, but when it comes to bosses, I recommend you either use 1 stack on the boss, then spam your other stack on enemies that die in 1 attack while waiting for the other stack to regen (could fit both the boss and a 1 slam kill enemy in the radius) or if you think you can deal enough damage, full send both stacks on the boss.
If you want a explanation on the perks and abilities, I picked the homing primary so that if you decide to still use it, wether it be due to your situation or another variable, it will likely atleast hit a enemy but doubt it would do much damage, the secondary I chose cannonball because ,atleast to me, it seems to deal the most damage out of all the secondaries, but if you think the other secondaries deal the same amount, you can switch it with the sandstorm one, for the mutated perks, I chose amplification so you continuously deal more damage, cursed pact to deal even More damage and vampiric to partially counteract the double received damage, though if the abyss does turn out to have a sun, you could switch it out with one of the following: evasive flight maneuvers since your gonna be jumping a fair bit to reduce incoming damage, ravenous cyclone to damage and heal, or volcanic glass skin to help reduce incoming damage (which depending on how long the block charge lasts, could make you near immortal as long as you kill enemies when you use secondary, so I recommend switching to it if you think it fits better) for the Catalyzers and modules, I went for a mix of attack power and defensive boosts to deal more damage and help counteract the double received damage, though you could switch out the back module for a Strength module if you think you have enough health.
P,S. Extra notes on using this is that you should try to slam as many enemies as you can and try to maneuver out of the way of as many attacks as you can and try to keep spamming the secondary, theoretically, this Splicing combo should be good as long as you can kill enemies with 1 slam/secondary attack but there could be other factors that I don't know about that could make this worse since I only have the demo at the moment, will note you can switch out the Catalyzers if it turns out there are other factors or you think that some different Catalyzer combinations work better, just note I haven't played the full game yet and haven't studied videos alot.
P.S.S. since I can't test it, i don't know what to put for the abyss level stuff.
